At the time of my minimal faith in God, my painful emotional issues, and my unresolved death issues, especially near the time of my parents' deaths, I had an emotional breakdown. I asked God to prove His reality through my inner child by using the silly, absurd, or ridiculous to confound the wise, referring to I Corinthians 1:27 (K.J.V.): "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty." My many examples of "EYE STATEMENTS" in this book reveal the symbolic ways that God communicates with me in a playful and childlike way. God's communication with me through the absurd "Eye Statements" drew me closer to Him.
